We, in the USA, are just hours from 2022. I thought it might be helpful to provide you with a document that helps you to reflect back on what God has done in your life, and to purpose forward with intention. (Click on the link above to get the PDF!)

While I’m not much of a New Year’s Resolution kind of gal (I operate more on an academic year calendar), this time of year I do like to purpose forward by calling the things that are not as if they were (Romans 4:17). So, purposing in my heart and mind (these kind of things must first be made in our neural pathways) who I want to be and what I believe God has purposed for me this new year.

So let me ask you, who do you want to be this year? Who do you need to show up as this year in order to have the things you want, and do the things God has purposed for you to do? (Ephesians 2:10)  

Perhaps this tool will help you as you reflect back on 2021, and as you purpose forward into 2022. Remember, purpose is not chosen by you, it is revealed to you. This takes the pressure off of you trying to “get it right!” And, in Isaiah 55:11 we are told that God’s word over your life will not return empty, but instead it will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it. My friend, go boldly with the confidence you have into 2022! God will multiply your confidence. His word for you will perform what it is set out to do.
